Therapeutic Visitation Specialist

As a Visitation Specialist, you will work within a supervised visitation setting in Sicklerville, Gloucester County, NJ. The youth and family program provides visits at office/home/community sites for children placed by DCPP. The goal is to promote developmentally appropriate parent-child interactions.
Provide services to families such as referral, advocacy and service linkages
Provides clinical assessment of needs and appropriate plan for intervention
Provide a written summary of each visit to supervisor and uploads into NJ SPIRIT, provides monthly reports to DCP&P
Provide safe therapeutic visit supervision, transportation of children, and transportation of parents when necessary
Attend supervision, Family Team Meetings, quarterly Case Conferences with DCP&P and Court hearings as needed
Submit all documentation/reports in a timely fashion
Masters degree (MA, MS, MSW) in psychology, social work or other clinical field
Professional license required
In-community social service experience preferred
All positions require a valid driver's license in good standing, pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check. All candidates, if hired, will be expected to cooperate with Oaks Integrated Care and The Department of Human Services in all inspections and investigations. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
